Spending 2 years bringing 5 tracks to life has paid off for Aneesah, her debut EP The Fact of Being showing a songwriting maturity often lacking in first-time offerings.
‘Keeping You’ is a light hearted yet well put together blend of flavours, weaved with an honest lyrical style. The unusual opening groove is repetitive yet engaging, the pre-chorus nicely setting up a smasher/exciting release for the chorus. The bridge is also a welcome change of pace- the whole track set to a vintage sonic backdrop.
Expect more to come from this LA native, having studied a Music Industry degree in southern Cali and spending 8 years gaining experience in professional music marketing.
